After Find N2 Flip broke the clamshell phone market domination, Samsung finally woke up and made Z Flip 5 better.

That large screen better be a fully functional Home Screen instead of running only few proprietary widgets.

Iteration improvements, and refinement are more important than drastic design and feature changes. Having said that, all cameras, across all phones, could do with better cameras, regardless of the hardware specs. The onky advantage of 1inch sensors seems better detail, when zoomed in 400%. Otherwise dynamic range, lowlights, faster shooting, better video are probably advantages by some smaller sensor cameras.

This is already the best selling foldable phone. Unlike book foldables, clamshell competitors do not have a meaningful hardware advantage over the Z flip. If the new hinge addresses the durability issue, this will be the first mainstream foldable phone.

Many people said that bigger cover screen is a bad idea because one of the reason the flip phone exist with small cover screen is to limit addictness when playing smartphone. Then just limit the feature in the cover screen, it's just as simple as that.
