As all we know SSL is one of the top on the list, and I tried one (very lucky) now I have the plugin from UAD and I can say you can bring the same sound as the analog. 5 stars

Sounds fine, but out of nowhere will stop passing audio.
This plug sounds like an SSL, so that's good. The bad is that it will randomly stop passing audio. If you crank the level on the line amp, you'll see the overload light work, but it gets no further. This will happen in the middle of a session, so a track that you have been eq'ing and working on earlier in the day, will stop at print. The only workaround that I've found is to import that track from an earlier session or session file backup. Taking the plugin off and putting it back on does not work, nor does creating a new track and copying the data from the one not passing audio. This is a HUGE bug and can really cause issues if it goes unnoticed.

I used to think a lot of SSL Bus Comp emulations sounded adequate until I entered into the UA world and demoed this product. Lasted 2 days on demo and purchased. Sounds noticeably more 3D and "gluier?" then others out there. No pumping or plastic sounds here! Do yourself a favor and give it a go!

Like the real deal
The channel strip really sounds like a real console. Especially the line amp adds an analog flavour none of my SSL 4000E plugins do. The bus compressor sounds more real than any other plugin.
The only disadvantage is they (and the channel strip in particular) really are DSP heavy… I really hope they’re going native in the near future.
